A triangle shades less than a rectangle with similar side lengths: the 4.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 m sail covers about 8.8 m². Sizes are measured ring to ring and the edges are curved, so the shaded area is slightly smaller than the nominal size. Plan about 1 m of drop for every 4 m of sail. Unclip it when strong wind is forecast or when you're away for a few days.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDarker colours cut more glare; lighter colours reflect more heat.
