The steel mast rises at an angle from the 100x100cm cross base, leaving the entire area beneath the canopy unobstructed. Eight steel ribs hold the round anthracite canopy open across its full 3m span. An air vent at the crown releases accumulated heat upward as cooler air moves in from below — making the shade beneath the Libeccio genuinely comfortable through the peak afternoon hours, not just technically present. The crank opens and closes the canopy smoothly, and the canopy tilts to track the sun as it drops toward the horizon, cutting low-angle western light that a fixed canopy cannot manage.

When daylight fades, the solar panel — charged through the day — triggers the 24 LEDs automatically. The UV-protective, anti-fade polyester canopy holds its deep anthracite tone through multiple seasons of Australian sun without bleaching, and wipes clean easily with a damp cloth.

The 24 integrated LEDs are powered entirely by the included 0.7W solar panel — no external power source required. The system activates automatically at dusk, making evening outdoor use effortless. For pool-adjacent settings in particular, a self-contained solar lighting system removes the need for certified electrical fittings near water entirely.
