The Maestro is the most visually dramatic LED cantilever umbrella in the Shadelys range: a flat, deliberate black canopy that absorbs the full heat of the Australian afternoon sun, and at dusk becomes a dark canopy lit from within by 24 solar LEDs — a contrast that a pale or neutral canopy simply cannot produce. Approximately 7m² of defined shade above the outdoor space during the day; a lit, enclosed outdoor room after dark, with no power cable and no installation required.

The steel mast rises at an angle from the 100x100cm cross base, leaving the entire area beneath the canopy completely unobstructed. Eight steel ribs hold the round black canopy open across its full 3m span. An air vent at the crown draws accumulated heat upward as cooler air moves in from below — the detail that makes the shade beneath the Maestro genuinely comfortable through the hottest part of an Australian afternoon, rather than simply reducing direct sun. The crank opens and closes the canopy in a single action, and the canopy tilts to cut low-angle light as the sun drops toward the western horizon.

When the solar panel triggers the LEDs at dusk, the effect is distinctly different from the other LED models in the range. Against a taupe canopy, the LEDs produce warmth. Against sand, they diffuse softly. The UV-protective, anti-fade polyester holds its deep black tone through multiple Australian summers without fading, and wipes clean with a damp cloth.

The 24 integrated LEDs are powered entirely by the included 0.7W solar panel, charged through the day and activated automatically at dusk. No external power source, no certified electrical work near the pool, no ongoing running costs. The system works with the Australian sun rather than against it — the days that charge the panel hardest are the same days the evening outdoor space gets used most.
